Here at Kahvi we're exceptionally proud of our yearly compilation release - and here, finally, is the VA release for 2016! It's been a mammoth undertaking, collecting tracks, compiling the release, mastering, creating the cover artwork but finally we can announce that "Fields' is here!

This year, we have 40 of the best tracks from some familiar faces, along with many guest artists that submitted their tracks for inclusion. We're especially proud to include a track from the legendary Richard Devine!

Some really amazing talent is out there with very little exposure, and the VA is our chance to redress the balance. For a playlist visit our Mixcloud page. The VA is made up of a huge range of diverse tracks from ambient to IDM, chill to industrial.

Fantastic cover artwork is created by our resident VA artist 'Anto' and mastering is by Mnemonic. Enjoy this years VA and Merry Christmas!

No-nonsense selection of quality ambient/drone tracks, each crafted using unique recipe. Some are pastoral, some are more spacey, plenty of them utilize damaged field recs and warm, organic textures. This field is pretty crowded, but this release stands out for sure. Good for a night listen. Kamil Pastuszek

Woah, what comp! Every track on here is deserving of attention. But this one track stood out to me the most. The Lying Children seem to have a unique sound, its very intriguing! It was also nice hearing vocals on a ambient track! Defiantly going to look more into these guys! Oven-Soup
